Supplier Diversity in Law Firms

This webinar was recorded on January, 23rd 2008

Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP has had an active Supplier Diversity Program in place for more than 10 years and we are the only law firm to have been recognized by the National Minority Business Council for our leadership in this area. We are also a founding member and the only US law firm to participate in the European Supplier Diversity Business Forum, a pioneering initiative promoting supplier diversity in the UK. Recently, more law firms have begun exploring supplier diversity programs themselves. As pioneers with respect to supplier diversity in the legal profession, we can share our insights on how women and minority-owned business can successfully build productive relationship with law firms. This session will discuss how law firm supplier diversity programs operate, important differences in law firm and corporate structure and operations which impact supplier diversity initiatives, and what opportunities are available for women and minority-owned companies to compete successfully for business with the legal profession.
